Hello,

I recently modded my Wii U (5.5.3 U) and vWii. However, when the vWii is running and I insert a specific USB HDD (or when it's inserted at boot), it immediately shuts down. The HDD in question is a
Code:
WD My Passport 020A
, in the top rear port when considering the Wii U on its side, or the left rear port on a stand.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Sebi (who really can't risk an outdated screen name being here).

It's been literally two minutes, but I just realised the HDD has bad sectors (it said so when converting from WBFS to FAT32). I'll try correcting that, and get back to you.

Extrasklep:
1.) 500 mA.
2.) No.

3.) It was used for a Bannerbomb modded Wii in 2009 and hidden using software therefrom. The vWii might not like that software. I'll try finding it and unhiding the drive.

I think it's called "stealth mode"...something like that. For others, try reading guides by Eclipse sin and Kafluke--those guys made some good guides detailing Wii U issues.

BTW, I don't think you want to have your drive or games in .wbfs, you can keep the games in .iso and use a splitter for games like XC1.
