Are you getting any errors? If you are getting the 324 error like the other person then I suggest you try a different brand of DVD-R.

Indeed, i'm getting this error (324) the problem is that these DVD work on an another Wii. You think it is a drive, lens problem ?

No i directly installed the one from gamma, you're talking about the beta one ? Should i uninstall first ?

Try reinstalling the one that came with gamma (one with sonic icon, rev7). It might be corrupt or something. And it will just overwrite it.

Try a different game to test - that game can be iffy at the best of times - try one thats confirmed to work perfectly with no issues so you can confirm your loader and discs are ok - i assume ur using DVD-R discs ?

dvd+r booktyped to - rom... iv goten three games out of four working

- wiimusic worked clean
- rapala fishing didnt work so i patched it and it worked but then i got rev 7 and the clean one works
-but shaun white only works patched
- and i havnt got'n the clean dvd5 super smash bros to load:\ it shows up in the wii disc channel but doesnt load:s

-ntsc wii
-all pal games except rapalas fishing frenzy

ps, if i use brick blocker with a patched game, do i patch or brick block it first?

You shouldn't need to patch games anymore with gamma.

Not unless you're using the beta loader which I don't see why you would.

so im running an NTSC Wii with SM 3.2U and when running my wii with the gamma launcher and with the beta launcher i sometimes forget to force my

pals to ntsc and it boots in pal all black and white and flippy and when i manage to hit home and and exit to the menu my wii crashes. It goes to exit

and then shuts off the video and i get snow but the light remains green happens every time. Is it because when i use the loader it boots the wii in pal

and confuses it on trying to go back to the ntsc menu? I dont now im not too smart or nothin but it kinda sound like a bug or something so does that

mean if i get some kind of cable or pal to ntsc video converter that its gonna crash then when ever i play a pal backup???? unsure.gif its gotta be a bug right?

ok after many days, help from the forum, and trial and error i can now report.

Seems DVD read error 324 is from a bad install of cios249. Used wad installer that uses ios16 to install cIOS249-Waninkoko-rev07. Fixed the 324 error.

Then some games worked with my DVD+R booked to DVD-ROM. Some did not. The ones that didnt gave me DVD read error 384. This was fixed simply by using DVD-R disks.

same thing happened to me, i have 2 wii's and one brand (dynex - cheap brand) works on one wii and doesn't work on the other, i thought there was something wrong so i tried a more expensive brand (phillips) and it worked perfectly. Read Error 324 was a bad install of cIOS for me, when i installed it correctly i'd get Read Error 384. using the phillips brand fixed the situation.

note - my wii is:

3.4U
cIOS36v7
wiigator backup launcher 3
phillips DVD-R

games:

WiiSports
Call of Duty 5
Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2
