I'm not going spoil any spoilers, for those who have played, you will realise this game is difficult and frustrating at times. There's no way to complete this game without constantly looking at a guide. There's no clues, tips or guidance in-game what so ever. I've enjoyed the game, but I hated looking back into the guides what to do next and what sticker inserts into that place. Also some of bosses were unbeatable cos sometimes you don't have that item and don't know what to use nor where it is.

If I found it frustrating, I wondered how little kids will manage that the game is aimed for. o_o

Edit: I added star twice to the tittle. XD

I didn't found any difficulties, just explore more and try everything everywhere.

I'm not the sort of gamer who likes backtracking a whole level again. It ruins the fun. I'm just saying there should be a little help telling you what item you need or what's important for the next level or boss. The game makes you figure everything out yourself and it requires a lot of patient. I remember some of the reviewers pointing out the same issue and having an effect on the resulting score.

Games are so much more fun when you can't figure em out.
I always feel like I'm cheating when I use a guide… I feel a sense of remorse when i get stumped in Zelda games :P
Problem is, Zelda games, you actually expect this to happen. Furthermore, if you're a major zelda fan like me, you'll know how to get yourself out in a pinch. It also gives out hints, some are very subtle, but they are hints nonetheless.
Paper Mario Sticker Star is... a bit of a miss in the puzzle department. As in, you get no clues of where to go. What to do at times, and it completely stops the game's progression. Not something found in earlier Paper Mario games.

I haven't gotten that deep in Sticker Star yet, but when this happens, after about 2 hours of trying, I just give up and look up a walkthrough for that section. Doesn't ruin the fun, I just find out how to walk past that single barrier, so I can get more of the fun :)

I agree with the post on where you get no clues on which way to go. But paperization! Remember that, and some times about the clues........ LOL.
Guides help a lot though.

It is not difficult, it is stupid, the game asks for a particular sticker to be placed sonewhere so the "puzzle" is solved, now...
What puzzle? you just sticked a sticker there
There´s not even some sort of sticker type, like, there´s a place in which you need a "sucking" sticker, in my logic a "blowing" sticker would do the same, it could be that all "wind" type stickers would do the trick, but, screw my logic, is that particular thingie or nothing.

Are you serious?

THIS is what gamers today are like? Do you play games just to get to the next one?
Come on people. I that is part of the game. Figuring stuff out. Just getting spoon fed everything is lame and makes for a boring game. "Oh yeah, i beat that game, it was so easy. All the puzzles practically solve themselves" No wonder we have all these entitled people suing over little things. "This game is too harddd wahh". Geez get a grip, game are supposed to challenge you.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
