I think the correct firmware is 4.2.0 (and in any case compatible Gateway) The console is NEW sealed with valid receipt for warranty Nintendo Italy.
What I think is valid in all EU countries ..

Well done, thats the similar price I managed to find mine although a little different:
2nd hand blue 3ds XL, Gateway card(s), 2 micro SDs SanDisk (4gb and 16gb), PNY SD card (4gb) and purple case cover, all for 180Eur. It took me 3 weeks though

make sure to get as many picture as possible bcuz i bought 2nd hand one too and the joystick was broken and it was full with dirt. plz buy safely

I'm going to buy a brand new 3ds xl at a local store here, called them and asked for the serial number of a red/black model, they said it's SW124XXXXXX so I guess it's a high chance that it's going to be on firmware 4.5. Had it reserved, there is a sparkle of hope here.

I would like to say that I bought the 3ds xl, brand new at a local store here in the middle of nowhere,
firmware 4.4 but it's the only one with SW124XXXXX serial number left and the rest is above. I got lucky.
For Filipinos still hunting for one, try Data Blitz. I also got a little discount.

no "all" but the vast majority, to be certain you would need to ask for the serial number off the box, or ask them to check in system settings

It's branded in 27th July 2012. I don't think I can ask them to check in system settings because It's Amazon. However I can try asking them the serial number.

I have an extra aqua blue 3ds i bought used
It works,opens and closes fine when you open it feels like its new still i only used this one like 20-25 times
All buttons work and feel new and all functions.
Its on f.w. 4.5.0-4U
(BUT on the outside of the top part there is a bite mark that cracked the plastic and the other side of the top you will see marks but doesnt effect the screen as its only the plastic piece and the bottom part the SD card flap is gone other than that its good.)
Im selling it for $85 how it is now, comes with 3ds, charger, and a generic stylus the retracts like the original.

Or i will replace the shell and sell it for $115 with new 3ds shell installed, charger, and stylus
