What happens if i transfer other files before backup

i have followed the rentry guide on how to migrate emunand to new sd for hekate can't post link becuase of new user thing
but i thought since i have all the files there i wouldn't need backup (i did need it) now im restoring emummc but the other files are already on it. will something unwanted happen now

If you move the files/partition from 1 sd card to another sd card, then you don't need to restore or backup the emmc again.
Then you would overwrite everything you have on the SD card.
Copy the files/partition and insert the new SD card in the Switch and that's it.
