Tinfoil and NSP Forwarders do not start after updating firmware to 18.1.0 and Atmosphere to 1.7.1

Is it a known issue? I have also updated Hekate to the current version.

At this rate a Moderator needs to put a sticky note on the Switch hack thread to notify newcomers that updating Atmosphere also requires updating the Sys patch to make homebrew & Game backups to work. We get the same topic literally everyday .

I have updated Sys Patch, Sig Patches, Atmosphere and switch firmware to 18.1.0 and still unable to launch tinfoil....

So im on 18.0 w/ AMS 1.8.0 and ive downloaded, both, the newest sig patches and sys patches and tinfoil still wont launch. im not sure what im doing wrong at this point. Everything worked fine until the system auto updated to 18.0. Most games launch fine still but tinfoil just wont open.

Also downloaded tinfoil 18.0 from the main site

I ended up removing every single thing off my SD card even and starting fresh. Just downloaded JITS and then the sig and sys patches.

All the games are launching (except non switch games) and tinfoil still doesnt launch

I dont know if it makes a difference that im not using Emu. my switch is already banned so im just running everything on the main os or whatever

I re-did the whole thing by following switch.hacks.guide/ and now instead of "unable to start", i get an error saying tinfoil is corrupt. Been reading threads for hours and trying everything and still no fix for me

downloaded the newest 1.5.3 syspatch too and the newest sigpatch i could find today.

Guess I can always try upgrading to 18.1 or 19

Have you tried sys-patch 1.5.2? I think I read somewhere that 1.5.3 only works on 19.0.0 so it might be worth the shot
