@n0tAplikable You do realise that SDK versions aren't exactly corresponding to retail firmware versions, right?
Yes, but it is a sign for what MAY come@n0tAplikable You do realise that SDK versions aren't exactly corresponding to retail firmware versions, right?
More like what HAS been.Yes, but it is a sign for what MAY come
If you get CFW, you should be able to make Luma show the system version string properly (maybe). As I already said, there's no way to verify that, because developer units always show "Ver. 0.0.0-0", no matter the firmware version installed.
Only to developers basically.
I'm not one of them, but I've got a couple of contacts who are.
Didn't you read the previous posts? She cannot use the guide to install CFW since she doesn't know what system version the n2DSXL is at, and for the time being, it even might be a new system version that is yet to be released. If you get CFW, you should be able to make Luma show the system version string properly (maybe).
I use FTPD on mine with an FTP client on my phone/computer, but it's so much less convenient.God I want that SDcard slot so badly, unscrewing the back of my N3DS is unbearable.
Yeah I'm pretty shure this came out late last year, maybe even beforeYes, but it is a sign for what MAY come
Hey! I have an idea...Yes, Nintendo 3DS Sound is there, sandwiched between Nintendo 3DS Camera, and Mii Studio.
The op already explained that the dev firm version of new2ds doesn't have a corresponding retail version out right now.Of course, asking Nintendo (via a developer?) what firmware it's on is out of the question, I assume?
I will need Homebrew access first, any suggoes?Hey! I have an idea...
What happens if you try running soundhax.m4a from the sound app or UDsploit from the HBL (after using OOthax or something to get to HBL)?
Not that any of this will do anything or work, but I'm curious if either would work, and would tell us around what FW version the 2DS is running.
I spoke to Normmatt before, to dump the SM3DL prototype, I'm not sure if he has Discord?@YamiHoshi.nl Should talk with @Normmatt to see if the https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-unbricked-with-magnet-ds-flashcard.472585/ trick works with the new2dsXL, at last the magnet trick, that would make me consider even faster to buy a new console, my launch3DS has seen better times
Whether buttons feel good or not, is up to the user.I would really like to know what is the quality of the buttons, since the 2DS had horrible buttons.
Also, is the screen suffering from scanlines as it was on the 3DS?
double post
No I don't.1/10 do you think Nintendo did a hardware revision tho

Seems to be already possible: https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-unbricked-with-magnet-ds-flashcard.472585/page-42#post-7377576(And I so hoped I could keep my 666 post count forever. wwwwww)

I stopped using Skype full-time, since Microsoft took it over.
But my New 2DS LL didn't brick so far, though.

I just compared 2DS buttons to New 2DS LL buttons, and they're both nice to me, except that the New 2DS LL buttons are more clicky, while the 2DS buttons aren't.
As for the scanlines, might be your 3DS that broke, I never had this issue with any model.
