Homebrew VWii or WiiU Softmod for GBA games

Hi all,

Was going to mod my wii u to play some GBA roms, but I'm wondering after reading a few threads if I should be installing VWII or Wii UI homebrew channel. I noticed on the below link that the only thing that might play GBA is Retroach.

Is there a preferred method of being able to play GBA roms using the wii u controller / screen? Maybe some VC sideload that I missed?

retroarch on wiiu mode plays all gba games perfectly with no struggles or hacks, your fine with it alone.

There are also Virtual Console injects if you're interested in those as well.
