USB Loader GX is not seeing my wii games

I have had a HDD hooked up to my Wii for ages, with backups of all my wii games (and 1 gamecube game) on it. I just got throug installing the homebrew channel on the vWii of my Wii u, got USB loader GX installed, and working, and got Nintendont installed. I then hooked up my HDD to my Wii U, and only the gamecube game is recognized. Did I miss a setting somewhere?

Also, the gamecube game loads fine, except when I press the home button. That will lock up my Wii u so hard, I had to remove the power cable to get it to turn off.
