Yes. If you remove the TubeHax DNS and try to update, the Illuminati come into your house, create a black hole and destroy humankind.
To be serious, of course you aren't blocked in 5.5.1 forever. The DNS just prevents your Wii U from contacting Nintendo's servers. If you disable it, you'll be able to update it normally.

I thought that because system files got edited,i would not be able to update (ex : iOS Jailbreak)
read the guide...you just annoy people with Qs like this.
If you want to use the exploit you must run it on a compatible firmware. Not to hard to grasp I hope..

Using a DNS only edit the Network configuration file. If you use the kernel exploit to spoof or something, you might not be able to update (frankly, I don't know, I never tried to spoof), since you edit the system files, but just using a DNS doesn't do anything to your Wii U.
When I try to connect with my Wii U, HaxServer throws me an exception:

Exploit race atack failed then retry
Well, you know me. I don't drink coffee
, but like almost everything little new to me. I usually want to watch some tutorial before messing things up. That's different i read those things, but this dude said he might put some errors in it so. I want to be conciense, waited for months for this and i really am not the only one that want to do it right. I did this with many consoles.
