aight so I don't know why i'm making this, you can't run exploit mp4s, they just freeze crunchyroll, but you can make some pretty sick custom videos/ads/animecovers. maybe someone here will figure out an exploit? (clearly will require more than video replacement)
everything that fetches in http can be remapped, that's up to you to find out.
here's an example.
Failed to fetch tweet https://twitter.com/aquaaaah/status/889746093696733184

here's how you can do something like this (ad replacement)
要件 (requirements)
  • a level of common sense that's not below average.
  • computer that's not a chromebook
  • a wii u, duh.
  • a video you want to replace it with, to make sure it'll work, upload it to youtube as unlisted and download with youtubeinmp4.
ガイド (guide)
  • download charles (https://www.charlesproxy.com/download/latest-release/)
  • install charles
  • make sure port 8888 is open and then load charles
  • set your wii u's proxy to "YOURPCSLOCALIP:8888" replacing "YOURPCSLOCALIP" with your pcs local ip.
  • load crunchyroll then load a video with an ad.
  • find static.vrv.co and map it like this.
  • c00abddc5e4808e829c0ab7e96567ae4.png

  • load another video, you should see your ad, if you don't try again.
  • you're done, have fun.
capitals are evil, have fun with this.

Thanks, leaf.
I love stuff like this. I might actually start watching anime again. I haven’t watched it since Cowboy Bebop from when I was a kid. And before that it was Sailor Moon. Kek

I have no idea why this thread of all things is popular @everyone, this does not allow loading homebrew yet my earlier twitter post was a "meme".

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, my PC can't run most AAA games so i wont

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
