Nintendo of Europe created a limited edition package for The Last Story. Instead of a red Classic Controller Pro, The Last Story bundle includes a mini art book, soundtrack CD with seven songs, and a copy of the game in a steelbook case.

The Last Story, like Xenoblade Chronicles, will also be released as a standalone game.

The official box arts for both the Limited Edition and Standard Edition of The Last Story have surfaced. Each box gives mention to Hironobu Sakaguchi, the game's designer, and composer Nobuo Uematsu. Both are famed for their previous work on the Final Fantasy series, and they have combined their talents once more for the latest RPG on Wii. To reconfirm, both editions of The Last Story will be available in Europe from 24th February.

I was going to pirate it (then pay for it if a US version was released), but I'll probably import the limited edition. Even when NoA had the sense to release Xenoblade (I mean come on, do they just hate making money?), it's still not a limited edition.

Yeah, but only as a Gamestop exclusive.... GS is paying a majority of localization and production costs. I read an article about it today, don't remember where... but Nintendo seems to be doing it only because it won't be a complete loss on their part (at least, that's how I see it).

I don't think Nintendo realizes that this isn't just about 3 games, it's about them listening to their customers. I've already lost a great deal of faith in them already and, while I have always somewhat of a Nintendo fanboy, I'm considering switching to Xbox.

Btw, Xenoblade was the number one pirated game of 2011.

    :rofl2: I WONDER WHY ;O;

I have a Xbox 360 and Wii. You're right, I'm STILL waiting for MOTHER 1, 2, and 3 to be released again. ;O; Cmon, it's like Capcom trolling with Mega Man Legends and 3 DLC Megaman costumes in UMVC3 (BUT NO ACTUAL MEGA MAN). These companies are trollin hard lately.

gee, I wonder why... Im sure its not because NoA seems retarded and not because its an awesome game /sarcasm

To be honest, its really retarded that so few jap games make it out of japan at all.
And I find it even more strange that when it reaches EU, translated to english, it isnt released in US... Its not like they have to change anything. Im fairly sure 99% of americans can understand brittish just fine.

I'm glad it won't have a Classic Controller *again*, I already have the red one.

Stellbook case is the paper case which open/unfold in 2/3/4 pans ? like the metroid prime trilogy collector?

Now I maybe wonder if I really need an artbook to take dusts and a 7 tracks only CD (full of drm?).
Xenoblade had a Special sound tracks CD with 12 tracks too for pre-orders on japan.
It has the main tracks, so maybe Last story only has 7 good main tracks?

I found this, but the reason I'm importing is because I want the special edition.

    ( ._.)

Most people own either a 360 or PS3 along with a Wii. I don't know of a single person who has a Wii and is confident that the titles released solely for it are better than those on the other powerhouse consoles. The titles aren't even made the same and sometimes carry entirely different plots.

Also, Xenoblade was not the number one pirated game of 2011. -snipped-

I realized that later and meant to change it, lol.

Considering the english version was released so late in the year, it's still a massive number of downloads. I doubt it would beat PC games, but I'm sure it would have gotten number one on console games.

Hi! Im Lucif3r! Nice to meet you!

The other consoles got like 90% PC titles, and the "exclusives" are crap. So in terms of consoles Wii has by far the best titles.
