The english subs are backwards because the lyrics are sung backwards.

humm it doesn't work with me, got a white screen when I start the game (Supercard DSONE SDHC with latest EOS), it's over for me or I made something wrong ?

make sure the file has .nds at the end of it

This is a good time to heap some praise onto you.

I was just thinking that I really like how the personalities of the characters come through (Spada especially).

I'm probably only like five hours in (had a lot of free time today) and I'm having tons of fun with it.

Seven hours in now (I have no life) and I'm still blown away by this. I forgot to mention earlier, I love how 'uncut' you left Spada's dialogue. I have a feeling Namco's translators would've changed his catchphrase to 'The heck?'. Those types of censorships really, really irritate me.

Official being the Bandai Namco conventions so the default setting of "Localized" will do what you want.
