hmm, i don think i see anyone mentioning it, but don forget to tell the user(player) in game that they can press select to toggle the subtitles on and off.

It won't be mentioned in-game. It will be mentioned in the readme supplied with the patch. We're providing the option, but since it isn't essential, we're not going to hold the player's hand through the whole game. The information (among other things) will be readily available for those who read the readme.

I most say, I am impressed, most people would have released the patch all half-assed by now or released some demo patch just to piss everyone off.

Proofreading: 25%? is that hard to finish?

Have you ever written a turn paper for school? Half of your score goes to quality, as in proper grammar, spelling, and making sense. It would take maybe a day or two to proofread a small 6-14 page report for a normal human. This is an entire game. So yeah, it takes that long.

and plus, you probably need a few other people to proofread for you just in case, something that seems okay to you might not.

Heck, i am guilty of this since i tend to write report in msn style
