Hacking Supercard DSTWO: General Discussion & Questions

Ok so I found the site, and I was looking for the correct file to convert it to, and I couldnt find Supercard DSTWO all I saw was Supercard one and Supercard SD, so im not sure which to pick . So I went ahead and put the only one that had Supercard in there category and I picked it for the Source format and also put it for the Target format, because I guess thats how your supposed to do it. So anyway I saved the new converted files to the SD card and then when back to my DSI and tried to play it and didnt work. So I must be doing something wrong. I think because I am idiot I need step by step instructions. I thank you for the help you have given me so far though.

Go to shunyweb, convert from No$GBA to the only one that has Supercard stuff in it.

AWESOME!! Thanks so much man it worked. Now, my only question is why before I did this when I would save a game and then restart the game it wouldnt save the game?

No idea...maybe it saw that there was a .sav file and thus didn't remake one, but the game couldn't read it, so started a new one, but it didn't match the .sav file originally and screwed up? I've never tried it, so I have no idea.

Oh, well either way I know how to load .SAV files No$GBA on my comp to my DSI. Thanks to you. I appreciate all your help. Since I received this flash cart two days ago, that is the only thing that had me stumped. I figured out how to change the skins on my own. And I have yet to try the other features this cart offers. But I am sure if I have a question you guys will have an answer most of the time. Again thanks for time.

Anyone know what the name of the supercard one i firmware is that supports dsi update 1.4.1? I need specifics, not just "The New One" I need to know the exact one...Also, how do you use the hotkey? it used to work for me but now its not working. Ive tried hitting x, b, a, y, l, and r but nothing happens anymore...

It's all it the ini files..... there's a line of 'name=whatever' - it's this that is displayed as the name when in the plugin menu

The only way you can change the name of DS_GAME is with a hex editor and you still have to input a name with the same number of characters.

- since v1.04-1.05 (IIRC) you can create a ini/bmp called 'dstwo_game' that changes the name of DS_Game.

There's a download on filetrip that has a copy of it that I'd put up that can do it (but I can't give the link 'cos company computer considers 'Filetrip' as a 'Malware' site)

The ini file looks like this
CODE[plug settings]
icon=fat1:/_dstwoplug/dstwo_game.bmp
name=NDS games

Just download & copy into the '/_dstwoplug/' folder and you're set

Hey guys, anyone using headphones? I do actually, and when i'm booting/playing games, I hear this High pitched bleep sound. I guess, just as with the R4, that this is the cpu/micro sd being read by the card, and ported into ds. Anyone have this too? can it be removed? (gets annoying after a while)

I'm looking for the latest GBA and NDS cheat databases, but their faq doesn't have much detail on GBA or other emulators...If you could kindly point me to the links or PM me them, I would be most appreciative of it.

I have a question about the nes emulator. Does it have real-time walkthroughs like the ds games? Because Mother 1 will be near impossible to beat otherwise.
