Gaming Super Smash Bros Brawl (USA) PAL guide

I've looked around to see if this question has been asked before, and I couldn't find it, so here goes:

I have a PAL Wii 3.1E, Wiikey 1.9g. Can I use a real copy of Freeloader and a real copy of NTSC Brawl on my Wii? I know there were problems with people using legit copies of Brawl on chipped NTSC Wiis, wonder if it's the same for PAL.

wow every post on this page has been questions asking for help... anyways heres my problem, i know that to fix the crashing issues with the game i need to change the video mode to 60hz, when i do that and boot the game my wii goes into stand-by and it's really annoying i have no idea why? anyone else have this problem?

I applied the following patches to the dvd5:
RegionFrii 1.21 to patch region
WiiFrii 2.2 to patch videomodes
WiiUpdatePatcher to modify update
GenericWiiPatcher to remove 001
Loaded with pal freeloader

but it locks up, black screen. Is there something I did wrong?

I have PAL Wii, 3.2, Wiikey 1.9
I have ESPALWII SSBB ISO.
burnt fine but wants to run update...
will this update- brick wii, install duplicate channels, neither.
if it bricks wii, what should i do to play it? i have tried brickblocker and get a black screen after starting program.

From all the posts Ive read, the Brawl update is for all regions and allows your Wii to play DL discs.

I have a PAL wii and downloaded brawl from the release group Wiizard I also found a patch (from Wiizard) entitled: "Super Smash Bros Brawl USA to PAL error removed". If the wii asks to update my system. What should I do then? Just update, cuz it is a USA update and my wii is PAL.

I have a PAL Wii, and a legitimate US Brawl, and when I first ran it, using Freeloader, it asked to update, I let it, and it was fine ... did nothing harmful to my Wii.

Yes update is fine. The update is patched so it installs the necessary files to play brawl, but no dupe channels etc.

Dit you do the exact same as me? So with the Wiizard patch?

It's not about the dual channels its about: if you put a ntsc update on a pal wii then your wii will be bricked and won't do it anymore.

Yes, we all know that ... but you are missing the point ... the update that Brawl performs is not that kind of update ... which is why I said that when my US copy of Brawl updated my PAL Wii, that everything was fine.

Put my faith in the posts and ran the update- ESPALWII version on PAL Wii 3.2E, Wiikey 1.9 works fine no problems.
