This is a port of Ship of Harkinian to the Wii U. Ship of Harkinian is a PC port of Ocarina of Time allowing you to enjoy the game with modern controls, widescreen, high-resolution, and other great features!

Quick Start

• Requires a supported copy of the game (See supported games below).

The instructions below haven't been updated in a while. Join the official Discord for updated builds and support.

Releases:

1. Download the Khan Charlie 6.1.2 .zip from here or the #downloads channel on the official Discord.
2. Download the PC OTRGui version from here.
3. Use OTRGui to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well.
4. Copy the oot.otr file to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Nightly Builds:
The nightly builds come with up-to-date features, but are experimental. Use at your own risk.

1. Download the latest soh-wiiu and soh-windows artifact.
2. Use OTRGui from the soh-windows.zip to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC nightly version, you can use that as well.
3. Copy the oot.otr file and the contents of the soh-wiiu.zip to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

I mainly built PC builds and only tried the Wii U a handfull but kept getting issues eventually made 1 build as for PC version i have full rt and render96 texture mod game looks great i may try rebuilding sometime but im unsure if texture mods are possible on Wii U

dunno. I have a wuhb of the wiiu version, but I only did 60fps and puppycam iirc. can't really remember for sure.

Are you playing at 60 FPS? Make sure you lower the internal resolution to about 66% and uncheck the "disable draw distance" and LoD options and it should run fine.

Alternatively, play at 30FPS and it will work pretty flawlessly even with the draw distance disabled and at full internal resilution, from my experience.

the problem was that I needed gcc-10, and the end of the instructions was wrong, so I modified it slightly.

I had an issue where the game wouldn't boot if imgui.ini or shipofharkinian.json from previous builds were in the Wii U App Folder ; Try that. If that doesn't work, regenerate your OTR files by rebuilding the game. If that doesn't work, join the ship of harkinian discord and post in the section for Wii U help. (You can DM me for a discord link if you want.) They may ask for a screenshot of the files in your wii u app folder.

Unfortunately this does mean you'll lose any controller config settings but they can always be redone.

So in the latest version Sulu Alfa (7.1.0) I can for some reason no longer pick master quest. Any time I start the game and go to file select then get to the screen where you pick original or MQ whenI push left or right it just says boss mode but doesn't scroll over to MQ. Coincidentally I also have this issue with the PC version as well.

Are you sure you're using the correct debug rom for master quest?

I'm not an expert, but that's what I'd investigate. I can select MQ just fine on 7.1.0.

Well the master quest rom worked fine in all previous versions of ship of Harkinian.


(Edit) All working now for some reason my otr for master quest was half the file size it should have been. Made a new one on my second computer and now all is good lol.

I noticed there is now a "soh.otr" file in the Wii U download. Do we need that in our /wiiu/apps/soh/ folder as well along with the "oot.otr" file? The old version I have does not have this file.

For master quest, google the following.

It's best to have both, as you can pick between which version inside the game itself, once generated.

hey all, i'm a bit confused as to how to build the latest ship of harkanian. do i need to rip the games from gamecube disc (pal or ntsc) or could i source another n64 rom from elsewhere?

edit: you get a gamecube disc and use the pc instructions to extract the rom
