Damn, thats fast. I knew they'd speed it up eventually. Now if they could speed up the loading of roms that fast, it will be gravy

If they only could updated that Moonshell... It's still 1.41

I like the fact that the GUI is Moonshell. It's great not having to launch it

No, it's a bit more slow:
New updateWe're quite please with the speed of these operations, as our tests with a Toshiba 4GB MicroSD show saving taking about 6 seconds and loading taking about 2.5 seconds.

IIRC, they can't update the moonshell any further because no one can compile it anymore.

Naw, most of them just don't want to buy the official ARM dev kit licenses. It's not all that hard to compile once you have RVDS, which by the way produces far more efficient code than the ARM GCC branch - but RVDS is definitely not cheap at more than $10k a pop for anything but an educational/evaluation version. If I didn't get completely misinformed and crossed in the wire department, I think EZ is now able to rebuild moonshell with RVDS.

I believe it's more due to Moonlight's wishes that they stop their modifications on it. They could update up to 1.6x fine (only 1.7x uses the multi-thousand-dollar compiler), but I believe they don't out of respect for what Moonlight says.

That's what I meant, but didn't want to explain it

About your last sentence though, who do you mean by "EZ" and how did they afford RVDS?

Edit: I'm referring to cory1492's post

Then they should just drop it... and make so that users can use their version of Moonshell, like CycloDS.

Yeah, right... They're making so much money with EZ-V and EZ3-in-1?
