1. - patch the original ROM via the hexedit code(google it)
2. - apply the translation patch

There's some padding in the internal rom name (extra spaces) and the manufacturer ID has been changed.
Flashcards need to have this data to disable the AP for this game and work properly.
HOW TO FIX:
After patching clean rom with the CN tool, fire up your hexeditor and at the VERY top, you will see this:

Just replace the values circled in pink by the "OK" values under.
In other words, replace a lot of 20 by 00 and 4B 58 by 47 44.
Save and yooohoo it works.
But most importantly I can confirm the 1.1 saves are compatible!
