so is it a full translation? the link says nothing and there are no screenshot to indicate the sort...

maybe this should be put as a news in the frontpage?

I believe this is a full translation.

You can try PMing a mod or someone from the news group.

So I downloaded the translation patched it up and started playing it on my Cyclods evolution. Problem is once the dad jumps out of the window at the beginning the screen stays black. Anyone else having this problem and if so is there a fix for it?

Freezes for me when I run the patched game. The original game runs fine, as well as the 1.1 version. 2.0 just plain freezes on a black screen when I try to zone out or access the meat dictionary.
I tried making a new game thinking that maybe my old save wouldn't be compatible with the new patch, but the game still freezes on black on the scene where dad leaves the house.

Took a look inside the xdelta patch, seems that CN forgot to add the AP fix. I've found a way around it:
1. - patch the original ROM via the hexedit code(google it)
2. - apply the translation patch

Here's to hoping there'll be no more hiccups.
Thanks to CN for an outstanding translation of this great gem. Ahh nostalgia strikes again ~_^

This worked perfectly, thanks a million! For those who also do this, keep in mind that even though the translation patch will throw out a few checksum errors, it will still patch just fine. Time to go play!

tried it with hexediting first ( with using the easy patch tool ) and then patching the rom with the english patch but it didnt worked for me

Ok i figured it out.

There's some padding in the internal rom name (extra spaces) and the manufacturer ID has been changed.
Flashcards need to have this data to disable the AP for this game and work properly.

HOW TO FIX:

After patching clean rom with the CN tool, fire up your hexeditor and at the VERY top, you will see this:

Just replace the values circled in pink by the "OK" values under.
In other words, replace a lot of 20 by 00 and 4B 58 by 47 44.
Save and yooohoo it works.

But most importantly I can confirm the 1.1 saves are compatible!

This fix breaks No$GBA support. Current patch release works perfect with No$GBA.

Can I get confirmation from people that this fixes the problems with the few flashcarts having problems?

By the way, the game works perfect on Acekard using AKAIO 1.8.5a, it's what I used to do my test run.
