My thoughts exactly.

Get this, RuneScape is the seed of MMORPG gaming, every MMO gamer out there, knows or has played RuneScape at a certain time in their gaming career (lol career) before entering the World Of Warcraft, Starcraft, Runes Of Magic, Anarchy, and all those other games..

That's an overstatement. Not every MMO gamer started from this mediocre game.

Why do you guys shit on RS? By your standards it's mediocre, but the majority of you who say this either formulated this opinion from playing a very limited amount of time, or you think you've moved on to better MMOs. Seriously I enjoy RS, I have played since I was 10, your opinions mean nothing. You don't convince anyone who have and continue to play this game. Seriously, what other game get's weekly updates. It's so much more than it used to be.

On Topic: I voted no, but there wasn't an option. Apparently, it only appeared a day before the vote ended. Honestly this is a major step back. If they had just fixed merching clans and built a better bot detection... Honestly, I pay a monthly fee to play members, and I know when this comes to pass, they won't be using the money I pay for great updates, it will go to bot removal. Which will be perhaps the thing that makes me quit.

Multiple updates a day, all week every week, is overkill and actually a bad thing.

Are they major updates? Do they break things? Are they just skill balances? Besides if the game needs to do three updates in one day, someone is doing something wrong.

They can't bring back the old days, because they would have to remove everything that was added since 2007.
They would also have to change the graphics and animations to make them the exact same than before.
That would takes ages to do and wouldn't bring anything good to the game.
