Western devs aren't bad, they're just given a medium that's bad for them. DMC is a decidedly Japanese game. It just kinda has that feel to it. I guess Resident Evil could work well in the hands of a western dev but from what their ambitions are for this one, I don't think so.

For the record, the new DMC looks atrocious. They essentially butchered an awesome character (Dante).
