Sounds good to me. So will it replace the current FC system? So friends are now added to your NNID account. I think they will keep both options for games and ditch the FC completely on their next handheld.

Shared eshop account is awesome, now we need shared VC games. I doubt the latter without some small fee, but it's about getting ready for purchasing eshop content on smartphones/pc with your NNID account to your WiiU/3DS.

This is great news, wanting to pickup a Wii U, but wanted to wait for this. Although I wonder how Nintendo will compensate people (if they will) whom already have the same game on both the WIi U and 3DS.

Also Konjak responded! If you people don't know who he is I suggest you check out his site. He made a Legend of Zelda fangame which is amazing (and short) and is currently working on an amazing called The Iconoclasts .

At this point, it'd only really be news if Nintendo suddenly decided not to unify their account system.

It's a bit ridiculous that it's taken them this long to get around to this, but hey, at least it's something. Baby steps, right?
