I don't particularly want the game, but it looks like many others do.
And hell, if capcom actually does make the game for Wii also, I'll buy it just for support.

will not settle for crapped down version of this game...i just watched extinction and i am in the mood for an insane new addition to the RE series..not some graphically inferior, fumbly wii control concoction

I'll sign it but I really doubt they'll port it to the Wii.

The game has been in development for quite some time on much more powerful consoles..they'd have to rewrite all the code for the Wii I'd imagine.

Signed.

Hell even if they don't do res5 they will certainly do something. The wii's only a year old and it's already had 2 Resident Evil games, 13-14 million wii consoles worldwide would suggest they would have to make another. But if you really want res5, and the petition fails to persuade them, then buy a second hand/New Xbox360 and all is good.

I really would like this to happen, but when has an online petition ever done ANYTHING?

I remember a certain game called Okami...I think it was an online petition that swayed Capcom into porting the game to the Wii...

BTW, signed the petition...I think they are at 29143 now. That's a nice number

I'd rather they'd make a new game, I have a 360 and while Wii controls bettered re4 for me, the Wii version would have to be scaled down to suit it and some of what is in the PS3/360 versions would be lost.

To the mod that removed my post:
This is Games and General Discussion. Why can't I discuss along with everyone else? Just because my opinion is of not wanting it, I'm not allowed to discuss?

EDIT: Just noticed Hadrians post says the same thing mine did. Why not remove his as well? So, I'll say it again, I wouldn't want a graphically inferior version of this game with fumbly wii controls. (aside from Metroid, the wii controls have been dissapointing for me)

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
