I didn't need to reset/reboot my computer after installing Python2.7
It updated the path automatically (added it at the beginning of the "path" variable), and when I type "Phython" it correctly detects the one in Python27 instead of the one in Python26 (I still have Python26 in the path).

Or you can also temporarilly edit the variable in the opened command line window (it will not save or modify it for other programs)

I'm not 100% sure on this but if you run Gateway without Emunand installed, doesn't it run on Sysnand? If it does, this could possibly be used on Sysnand, right?

It sounds like it but be very dangerous, even you have a sysNAND backup you need a hardware mod to do it. I guess the advantage would be to downgrade to 4.1-4.5 but the DS Profile hack isn't available on later so not sure what use this would have right now.

I am on 4.4 I see no reason to fool around with this and try to upgrade to 4.5, not even sure sure if there's even any advantages. I am not even sure what use this has right now but perhaps in the future for downgrading.

Either 2.0.0 or 2.1.0 deleted the 3D video demo. But the demo is still available on their servers! you can download it and probably install it as cia (unless title file 00000001 is still present and delete file 00000000 if found)

I guess I missed 2.0.0-2E, so the next log contains two updated versions in one: 2.0.0-2E and 2.1.0-3E

First problem is that there are toom many cia files for dev menu. trying to split them in several dirs.

I imagined it would be something like that but honestly, it's not really worth it.
Anyway... until this becomes more safe and fully tested, I wouldn't advise you to try to update your sysnand using it

Updating your sysnand like this, despite being pretty risk, would also be pointless your eshop downloaded smash bros wouldn't work on sysnand unless you either directly flash your emunand to your sysnand(which btw also doesn't work, or if you update to 9.4 and redownload it to get the tickets into sysnand

Would playing Super Smash on sysNAND have more features? Like what? You can play the CIA installed online not even sure it would be worth buying it but idk much about the game.

Well....I can confirm that this works. I was on emunand 8.0 and went to 9.2 and was fine until i restarted the console. I booted into my newly 9.2ed GW mode and was greeted after a few second with the infamous "NINTENDO" error has occured please turn of the console and try again message. If anyone else encounters this please let me know what steps you did and how you resolved it. (if you were able to resolve it) I don't really want to wipe my emunand and start over but will do so if needed.

Updating from one region to another will cause a brick for sure. You would have to be on the region you want to update to from the start. This was proved on what Nintendo did for Wii FW so I am pretty sure 3DS from USA to EUR will brick the emuNAND. I am sure there is a way to do what you want in switching regions but as I said this way is not going to work.

At least for Wii all you needed to do was change the eshop region and that at least gave you access to the eshop in whatever region you wanted. I would say trying to hack eshop would be the better way spoofing it somehow, but hard to say since we can't access eshop anyway at this time.
