Hey guys, RxTools 10.6 on N3DS using beta_2.

I did a region swap from US to EU a while back through the tools provided in RxMode, never really needed the eshop until the Pokemon remakes came out. Now I need it in order to repair the installed CIA.
Currently I'm getting the error code 005-5958 and I'm unable to access the eshop. How can I get it working again?

You can not use the eshop on a region swapped N3DS. There is a complicated method involving swapping sd cards for the O3DS but it will not work for N3DS due to installed titles that came with your system.

You guys should also add the posibility of booting straight to sysnand, and the ability of updating the sysnand without messing up firm0 and firm1 (like AuReinand does)

Yeah, just change default boot option to pasta mode

EDIT: but pasta mode doesn't work yet... Won't take much to support it

Why not just use the EUR versions of those games?

I did. Apparently some issue with the VC being stuck on the "Nintendo 3DS" boot logo which can be solved by just going to the eShop and repairing it.

From what @Bu2d85 said, guess I just have to be patient and wait for CIAs with that remedied then. Thanks

lol well we have reinand. It hasn't caused confusion really.

I believe this is the best way to describe cfw since they all use the same emunand (in general, excluding those with multiple emunands)
So it would be cool to describe emunand by gateway, reinand, rxnand, etc..

It has to do with the fact that these newer eShop games use seed decryption. By visiting the game's eShop page, the games' seed is added to you seeddb.bin so the 3DS can decrypt the game. There are ways of using Decrypt9 to update the seeddb with the new keys but I can't discuss that here as it's considered piracy which is against the forum rules.

On the topic of the new name for rxTools, since Pasta Mode refers to booting into sysNand with the patches so rxNAND might be a nice change.
