Followed this and every time I try to run the MSET exploit by going to Nintendo DS Profile, it just says an error has occured. Firmware.bin and slot files are in SD:Rxtools/system. Using O3DS XL and 4.2.0-9 firmware.Save your firmware.bin.
Remove or change name on the existing rxTools folder.
REMOVE rxTools.dat and forget everything about it.
Download the latest build here: https://bit.ly/rxTools_unstable
Extract the new rxTools-folder to your SD-card. Put firmware.bin in SD:/rxTools/system/
Done. Update your .nds or how you choose to boot.
If you use spider, the link is http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes?rxTools/system/code.bin
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
Forget rxTools.dat. It's gone. Not used anymore. Download from my link and read IMPORTANT.txt and rxTools.dat.README.txt in the zip.
It's a full install yes. You need to add firmware.bin and slot0x..... if you need it.
The bin is for installing MSET through the browser. It's the same for me. I've installed the new .nds as written but it doesn't boot. What's the rxinstaller.bin? Do we need to use it?

I'm in the same dilemma as his. My downgraded MSET refuses to load even if I installed the new rxinstaller included in your downloads, but it works perfectly through the browser. You have installed the new mset rop I hope? The old one looks for rxTools.bin so that won't work.
The slot-file should be in your sd-root as usual.
Use cronSoo tired. Cba to build any nightlies today, besides I got people doing it for me

I reverted back to the Alpha build on the GitHub which seems to work fine for me.
I used the nds fileDid you use the dat or nds-file to install rop?
Yeah I completely removed the old Rxtools folder beforehandBut you removed or renamed the old rxTools-folder first, right?
It could be a firmware.bin issue maybe?
