Tjessx since the program only downloads this file, and renames it, you could add a download link in rxtools.net, in the download section for a pre-renamed file ? or is linking a file that can be downloaded by everyone, and renaming is against nintendo's Copyright ?
(you don't even need to save it locally on the server, you can simply use PHP to get the file, and give a renamed version of the said file using html headers)
I'm pretty sure firmware.bin is tied to the emuNAND version, and must be matching or newer than the emuNAND you are trying to load. That is actually a very good idea,
This also looks pretty legal to me, or isn't it?
Does this firmware.bin work for every version? (does the 2.4 one elso work on 2.3?)

So basically, putting a link on the site to download the latest firmware.bin for the user's respective region will work for everyone.
THX Mate90% sure your slotkey is wrong,
The other 10% chance would be that your emunand is corrupt or your emunand partition, reformatting emunand might help in this case.
With the upcoming 2.5 with CIA and homebrew, can you install a legit CIA to emuNAND? I only use emuNAND, I don't see the reason why you want to install on sysNAND...
Yeah. I know that, my sysNAND is 4.5, so I might not be able to play some games that requires 6.x.
So that's why I want to install .CIA on emuNAND.
the reason why some people might not want to install to/have an emunand is because:
simplicity. for their needs, they don't need to have an additional, redirected nand on the sd card.
if the content is legit and in sysnand, then as soon as you turn on, you can play the game.
it's just more comfortable.
i would give a 2ds with legit games installed on sysnand to a chilld as a present, i/they don't have to worry about running an exploit each time, or about updating etc etc.
when you 'install' on a nand, you only install the tickets, so, it's not a big deal anyway
Yeah. I know that, my sysNAND is 4.5, so I might not be able to play some games that requires 6.x or higher even. Smash, A Link Between the Worlds.
So that's why I want to install .CIA on emuNAND.
You can install them all in SYSNAND 4.5, then make an emunand out of that, this way you can play ALL in emunand and the once that need FW4.5 or lower in sysnand (in sysnand 4.5, the once that need a higher FW will be stuck at a Nintendo bootlogo on the top screen)
[EDIT]
Oeps, sorry for the double post :/
Same way, you need a SD without emunand or hex edit emunand so it doesn't get recognized by gateway, it will then boot into gateway sysnand. For us with system 9.2. How can install on sysnand?
You should shoot off a PM to Roxas75, he's off doing school stuff and hasn't posted for a couple of weeks. So he might not see your post.I'll totally donate a N3DS for a testing unit for N3DS support...

sure, if you will stay on 4.5 then it is not so great.
if roxas lets us install cias, then it will work in emunand so don't worry
