I did that....since modified cakefw launcher can load from themehax, I'm wondering why rx can't... I mean...they both made by same person!

this is the best i can help

here's EXACTLY what i did..
already had rxtools 3.0 beta8 installed.
already had rxtools ninjhacks launcher in 3ds folder
downloaded the build i linked
overwrote rxtools on my sd
placed firmware.bin in sd:/rxtools/sys folder
installed themehacks via nh1.x
copied the boot.3dsx (also linked) to root of sd, overwriting hb launcher boot.3dsx
restarted 3ds
profit

Tried this on N3DS, just get the flashing red bottom screen. Have the custom boot.3dsx and tried both themehacks and firmware.bin is in sys folder. Anyone have luck on the N3dS? I vaguely remember someone saying Brahma wasn't written yet for N3DS?

Steps work fine on the Old 3DS.

This doesn't work using rxTools in N3DS yet, only on 2DS/3DS, there are diferences for N3DS and needs a different rxTools.3dsx made into boot.3dsx

Had no idea the boot menu button was changed from R to L. It boots so fast now it's like you don't get the chance to boot into rxtools menu.

Thanks for the clarification, wasn't 100% sure since I saw someone say it did, but then read that Brahma hadn't been ported for the 3dsx boot. works great on the O3DS!

i was able to run RXtools on my new3DS, but after formatting my 3DS to understand what was others problems i can't get any boot. Now only black screen or red slow flashing screen... even CakesFw doesn't work... it piss me off so bad... here's proof...



Does anyone has an idea ?

Firmware.bin does NOT go in /sys folder on N3DS, nor is it named firmware.bin, nor is it the same file.

Seriously, this thread needs to be locked and an entirely new one made by one of the more regular (read: active) devs so the OP can be updated as needed.

Well, no idea how did you make it work on N3DS on the first place.
