Already compiled, thats exactly what im looking for. I need to watch this thread more. saw some posts about using themehax to auto-launch rxtools. gunna read back a few pages and see how you guys are managing to do that.
rxTools probably replaces occurrences of "Ver." in memory with "RX3D" as part of its prefix change in the System Settings. Is there a reason Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer updated and now on the menu it says RX3D 2.0, or is that just a huge coincidence?
Again, not exactly, as it works for both skater and spider. The browsers are just being used to load the corrupt .mp4 file. I'm still trying to read through the thread so I don't know specifics. Whatever the browsers call (like a dll on a windows machine or whatever) to play an .mp4 is what seems to be getting exploited. I'm just guessing at the moment though.it can be used with skater. so it's exploiting the browser anyway, no?
ok..This version of Themehax automatically launches the hack when no button is pressed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/76qmy5q1iph6bjq/themehax_installer.zip?dl=1
Press any button as 3DS powers up to launch normally into home menu.
1. Yesok..
Is this compatable with O3DS 9.0 sysnand?
Also, can i just install it with ninjhax?
and will it automatically launch my currently installed rxtools, or do i need to do something else?
EDIT: i guess it would make more sense that i would rename the rxtools ninjhax launcher app to the boot.3dsx. just waiting confirmation that it will work on my system and that im doing this correctly.
thank you. this is going to be awesome.1. Yes
2. Yes; it works with Ninjhax 2 (I used browserhax), I'm not sure if you can use Ninjhax 1 though
3. There is a boot.3dsx for rxtools made specifically for this, by steveice10
I'm getting confused myself because the information is scattered everywhere, but I believe it's here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...olkit-fw-2-0-9-2.382782/page-623#post-5696273
i know, right? need a tut or something. i think i get how this works for the most part. unless themehax has any prior hack dependencies, i dont expect to have any more issues.I'm getting confused myself because the information is scattered everywhere, but I believe it's here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...olkit-fw-2-0-9-2.382782/page-623#post-5696273
I'm not sure if that's the latest one!
@lemanuelIt's so unstable on o3DS because of how the hack works. It's stable on n3DS because it's a video player hack not a browser hack.
@lemanuel
There you go. That's what I thought. Had to wade through the entire thread to confirm my suspicions...
unstable? well, shit man.@lemanuel

Rx for my only working boot from nh1.1....
I had to download this build.. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/blmecish...-q69a/rxTools_09-28-15_19-52.83afbb6.zip?dl=0Rx for my only working boot from nh1.1....
themehax with the 3dsx download from the link always give me the red screen slowly flashing all the time(it should flash once, then boot into rx right?)...
I'm using n3ds. most things are fine, just the themehax can't boot up rx.I had to download this build.. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/blmecish...-q69a/rxTools_09-28-15_19-52.83afbb6.zip?dl=0
copy the folders inside the release folder and overwrite your current rxtools install on your sd card.
copy firmware.bin and paste it into sd:/rxtools/sys folder
then use the boot.3dsx here..
i just explained how to get themehax to boot it.I'm using n3ds. most things are fine, just the themehax can't boot up rx.
rx is bootable if I try to boot it from NH.
I did that....since modified cakefw launcher can load from themehax, I'm wondering why rx can't... I mean...they both made by same person!i just explained how to get themehax to boot it.
i got the red flashing until i used the new build and custom 3dsx
the rxtools boot.3dsx needs to be on the root of your sd, replacing the hombrew menu one.
