Yeah, it will work with no problems.
You want to system transfer from O3DS emunand to N3DS sysnand? Or from O3DS emunand to N3DS emunand?
Well I would like to transfer my purchases from my 3DS XL on latest firmware to N3DS XL If I can

I edited my post. You can check there what you have to do.
It might be a bit troublesome due to using 3 consoles but it's not particularly hard to do.
And like I said, always make a NAND backup before doing anything.

You want to system transfer from O3DS emunand to N3DS sysnand? Or from O3DS emunand to N3DS emunand?

In any case, basically you'll have to do this:

3DS XL sys10.1 >> O3DS emu10.1
Then, downgrade O3DS emu10.1 to emu 9.0
Then, O3DS emu9.0 >> N3DS 9.0sys or emu
When doing system transfer doesn't Nintendo force you to update??

To do a system transfer, you need to have the latest firmware, yes.
However, your 3DS XL is already with the latest firmware.
Your O3DS is using rxTools with emunand and emunand can go up to the latest firmware as well.
And your N3DS will be 9.0 but you can spoof the firmware with FreeMultiPatcher, that makes it think it has the latest firmware too.
So you can do the system transfer without updating.

There's a slight issue with this process tho. Since the system transfer has a cooldown period of 7 days, and since you need to do 2 system transfers, you can only transfer to your N3DS (the 3rd step) after waiting for 7 days.

The one who first thought of this (as far as I know) is @Ronhero
So if you have any doubts about the process, you can also try to ask him.

Since people keep being dicks and changing the locations files and directories are supposed to be (why the hell would anyone decide system should be sys?), I can't follow how to set stuff up. I had to delete my whole setup because an update screwed it up. Can someone give me a working 3.0 beta build and tell me where to put the additional files?

I changed the system directory to /sys because MSET exploit installers cannot handle the previous file path. /rxTools/sys/code.bin is the longest path that the installers can handle.
I think no further changes are necessary..

That's after you decided to change something else too though. rxTools.dat was suddenly too descriptive of a name, and the root was too easy.

Yes, I'm annoyed. I always worked hard to keep homebrew compatible.

Edit: WTF? Is code.bin supposed to be in rxTools or rxTools/sys now? The instructions and the default location conflict.

Not on an N3DS. O3DS while in emunand works great. Do it with a New 3DS, and your emunand won't work. Only way is to use emunand WITHOUT firmlaunch and use sysupdater.

Since people keep asking, here are the hashes again for the N3DS Firmware.bin. You get it from reinand v2, place it in rxtools/data/ and rename it to 0004013820000002orig.bin

The size is 964KB

this new themehax is really interesting, I have an old3DS v.4.3US
do you recommend me to update it to 9.2 ? is there any cons ?
and is there a way to boot offline fo GW-mode in 9.2 ?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I've just bought a New 3DS with 9.0... Can I Use BrowserHax Or any Hax to Launch RxTools?

not yet

unless you have CubicNinja (NinjaHax1.1b)
