Hey, I'm currently working on an hombrew app that allows you to change your eShop theme. I have also made a suitable converter for the Music Replacer.
Current version: 0.9b
Screenshots:
3DS
Instructions
1. Copy the /3ds Folder to the root of your 3DS SD Card
Copy songs
1. Copy the Songfolder into /3ds/eshop_music_changer/music
PC
Instructions
1. Extract eshop-music-converter.jar from /PC in the zip Folder
2. Check if you have Java 8 installed
3. Run it (by opening the .jar file)
4. Select inputfile and outputfolder
5. Convert
6. Now you will have a Songfolder that contains "boss_bgm.aac" and "boss_xml.xml"
FAQ
Q: My song was replaced by the orginal song, without restoring it.
A: That's normal, just run the homebrew app again and choose your song. This is currently a issue that will be fixed in the next version
Q: I get an error that it couldn't create a backup, what should I do now?
A: Make sure that you haven't delete the extra data for eShop. Otherwise you have to wait a few days.
Q: The song selection doesn't display all songs that I copied to the /music folder
A: Don't worry, this will be fixed in the next version.
To-Do list
Note: The converter only work on Windows. A Linux version will come soon.
