ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

I am unable to boot 3DS VC games. I am on a new 3DS Luma3DS emuNAND. I downloaded and patched the 0004013820000202 v4816. I then installed it using FBI. The new FBI auto selects the destination so I assume its correct. I then try to load Mother 3 GBA and it says an error has occured.

From what I understand, if you are running Luma3ds you do not need to patch AGB_FIRM as Luma3ds allows you to run gba titles on its own. I have yet to test this on either of my 3ds so don't hold me to that. But I would guess that the error occurring is from you patching agb_firm when luma3ds already modifies/patches it in before running thus causing a conflict of sorts. Try restoring your agb firm then running Mother 3 or any gba title for that matter then report back.

It's exact! you have to install the gba game in the sysnand, but luma3ds patches itself the agb firm.

I use to run gba titles on my old 3ds but I am going through the process of updating my N3ds to A9LH using Luma3ds. I only know of the old method where it has to be installed on both sysnand and emunand using the patched agb_firm.
What I said to the other guy was done after I had read the wiki and did some searches. I am not sure if it was 100% correct but I feel it is not to far off.

with newest luma3ds has automatically patching these firms. We do not need to install patched firms on our 3ds. but if you want to run gba vc on emunand you must install gba vc on both sysnand and emunand. it's same as old method.
I'm sure you know these basics.

So what have to do is install gba vc on both nands.
of course you have to patch arm9loaderhax.bin if you rename or put the file in any folder.

I'm having issues with a GBA game. When I start it, sometimes (maybe every 50%?) it cuts like 20px of the top of the screen and moves it to the bottom of the screen.
Is there a fix to that or am i the only one? The gba rom is japanese

I don't know how others running an Emunand do it but I use Pasta to install and play all my GBA games. I assume your Sysnand is 9.2.0?
Boot your Sysnand with Pasta and install tiltle manager or FBI and then install your GBA games. You musts also patch your Sysnand AGB_FIRM in order to play your games with this method.

You need to hex edit Pokemon roms or it will not save or boot

i tested pokemon vega but it crashes when i try to play its because the creator only made it work with vba i tested it with a bunch of gba emulators and they just crashed with it to. With pokemon Order and chaos it wil not work if you have the gba boot screen enabled also the ingame save function does not work its a bug in he hack so you can't play that one until its fixed.
