The major problem is a simple fact:
Not all R4 clones are clones of R4.

Trying to get WoodR4 to run on a non-"TRUE R4" clone is like trying to get M3 Firmware to run on AceKards.

R4 should just fucking die already.

why

Because it's beyond dead.
It died, was brought back to life with YSMenu, died again, was brought back with ashley's updated DSTT, died a third time, and is now back with a(n admittedly awesome) new firmware.
It's -well- past it's lifetime and people need to realize that relying on the general people to keep a card updated is a crapshoot.
Get a REAL card with a REAL team that does REAL updates.

Ontopic: Instead of trying to "hack" it, why not just wait for the sources to be released? It's more respectful and YWG already said he'll release them.

If the acekard team left, would anyone care? no , cuz they suck. You're not going to like your acekard if the team that makes AKAIO leaves. Then people will be telling ak users to get a real card

I'm pretty sure you didn't order your AK2i to run the official firmware on it. The last official firmware update was, what, 4 months ago? The irony is that you bought the card to run AKAIO on it.

I tried it in past and the games won't start

Making a firmware for the original R4DS is one thing...but I don't approve of making firmware for the fake/clone R4s. :\

I mean, don't encourage it. Let a bad purchase be a bad purchase.

The Original R4's that Shoptemp sells for so cheap? If what I've heard is true, that they produce them to the same specification as the original, then I consider them authentic units.
