Homebrew Questions from a potential Wii modder...

Hello all. I've recently decided to have my 2DS looked at as it was running an old CFW, and I stumbled across this thread. I notice that many of you have been mucking around with your Wii consoles and it's made me have a few questions.

Firstly, can it be modded with ease? as in, I don't have much experience of modding anything at all, would this be easy for me to do?

Secondly, is it safe? I'm not going to brick the Wii by doing this am I?

Third and final question, is it possible after modding, that I could locate a website to download Wii games and play them on the console?
