I have also a r4i clone as yours, I'm using DSTT retro's update. I think if you update yours to either woodR4 or DSTT "the latest", the game will work.

i installed the YSmenu and it loads all the games except for pokemon blaze black.
when i try to load blaze black it just gives me the same 'load rom errcode=-4'.

[*]On Route 11, the female Pokemon Ranger near Cilan's rematch is called Red. She has a Poliwrath and a level 1 Doduo and Bulbasaur. I guess that was a manga match that got moved elsewhere?

Checking that, I discovered that (at least in my narcs) the female Pokemon Ranger is #453 Thalia. In my narcs, she was holding 3 pokes, but only Poliwrath is shown, and the other 2 poke slots are empty, wich lead to a crash of the trainer editor tool

EDIT: Apparently, it was the only case of a trainer with less pokemon that the ones setted on trainer info tab. Drayano, can you tell me what are the correct settings for Schoolkid Shane, Roughneck Johnny and female Pokemon Ranger Thalia, so I can fix my files?

Oh wait, I know where that problem came from; the trdata has the number of Pokemon which is normally 3, and I gave her 6, so when I added her old trdata in it must have gotten confused, I guess.

So then... what are the roosters for the trainers I mentioned earlier? And what are the unknown values for those pokemon. I remeber had readed in other forum that these value has to be with the ability the oposing pokemon have, am I right?

Uh... I can't actually remember what they're meant to be tbh >_> Thalia is Poliwrath/Pikachu/Venusaur/Aerodactyl/Gyarados/Snorlax I think, Norton gave me their teams earlier in the thread. Gyara might be wrong, but I'm sure about the rest.

The other two no idea, just put in whatever you want.

None of them have any particular abilities so you can just leave the unknown as 0. Only thing I did do was genders but that's mostly irrelevant.

edit: Was gonna put up a bugfix tonight but I'm too nervous >>; guess that's what happens when you get your A level results the next morning

I'll probably put up the fix in 1-2 days

**Please message me directly for anything related to this. I don't want to clog this thread with posts in relation to this**

Also for those wondering, I did ask Drayano first if he would mind me posting it. If he ever requests I remove it I will.

Wanted to say this hack is amazing and incredibly fun. That being said I wanted an even further from vanilla experience so i made some changes myself. Pokemon locations have been redone, as have stats of more pokemon along with abilities, moves, and types (More than 100 pokemon should have an additional type with two-three having new ones all together). Just use xDelta GUI to patch it if you'd like to use it. Here is a list of the type changes (It's the only thing i kept track of. Also for example despite only blastoise being listed as water dark, the entire squirtle line is. This is true for some pokemon, while not for others. Sorry for the lack of further info).

Also the starters are now in this order

Snivy Charmander Totodile

Some of your type changes don't make much sense.

Zangoose - Fighting/Poison - Should be Normal/Fighting since it's signature move is Crush Claw.
Dustox - Dark/Poison - Dustox is more or a Psychic bug due to it learnign Confusion/Psybeam on level up.
Beautifly - Bug/Psychic - Isn't very Psychicy at all, Bug/Grass or Bug/Flying is more appropriate.

I know you're gonna tell me that I don't have to use your changes if I don't want too but I think you should re-think some of your choices rather than just adding types randomly to pokemon.

Nah I always welcome suggestions. And i went for most of the changes based on looks / how common typing was (For example semisear is poison fire because no other existed and no other really fit from what i could find). Zangoose struck me as a Fighting/Poison assassin type but crush claw is his signature move (maybe i'll make it poison type) I'll consider switching some of them. Trying to play through it some and work out some bugs. (So far the pidgey one is the only one. If anyone else plays through it and finds them please message me).

In my opinion since Zangoose is one of my all time favorites, that the only relevance to the Poison type is it shares a Blood Fued with Seviper and it's ability makes it Poison immune. If this is your reasoning for adding the poison type to it, you'll have to change it's ability from Immunity to something else, Otherwise make it Normal/Fighting with Immunity so it gets to keep it's STAB signature move and poison immunity. I agree with the fighting bit, I always thought it should be part fighting some how. Just my opinion or w/e.

I gave him Moxie/Poison Rampage. With a toxic orb he'll probably be overpowered but it's in game so you can easily choose to not do that

I've got a problem. I just recently downloaded this and when I was supposed to get the bike instead of the Xtransciever I still got the Xtransciever. I don't really care that much because of the 2x speed code but I thought I would let you know.

Hello Drayano! First of all, I want to say that you have done an excelent work with this hack! I have a lot of fun playing it!

Also, I think I just found a bug:
In the Trainers Rosters doc you say PKMN Ranger Forrest has Dunsparce L22, Chimchar L22, Heracross L22, but he only uses Dunsparce.

Keep the good work! Thanks for your time! Greetings from Argentina!

Regarding to this, I'm pretty sure all the PKMN Rangers in the forest have the same problem all only use one Pokemon.

It's not cool uploading a file that modifies someone else's work dude.

I agree. I'm not saying that is wrong to make changes on someone else work for personal use, but uploading those files is a little out of place. At least you should ask Drayano first for approval (and courtesy of course). At least is what I think.

That probably means none of the items have changed. I don't know how the hell this version started circulating but that's not a good thing.

Yes, I need to go over all the rangers and breeders again ;-; I totally forgot about that side effect before, and hello Argentina :3

PS The guy did actually ask me for permission to post his stuff in the thread, it looks like he forgot to mention it (I did say yes)

I mean built in sound on mobo's has gotten way better but still XP handled sound better and X-Fi was still better than onboard audio even to this day
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Oh boy Massdrop has $1100 IEMs. Want, but not at that price lmao. https://drop.com/buy/campfire-audio-andromeda-emerald-sea-iem
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Dbz said everyone has raging energy senses

  • cearp @ cearp:
you mean generally, how does the concept work?

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
