With an external database you could also make a berrydex, an itemdex and maybe even other games's dexes,
(like a virus dex for megaman, or a noise/item dex for TWEWY)

i had that idea too it would be pretty awesome. but maybe make another program after in a different style like a book or something and combine it with the pokedex

I'm very demotivated because of the stupid menu. And even more because I couldn't really work on it the last few days (school started, got a wii (

), and ofcourse I have to spend time with my gf).
So I'll probably postpone(got that word from google translate

, never heard of it though

) the menu glitch.
So for now, as soon as you're in the Pokédex, you can't go to the menu anymore.
Because, if you do, you can't go to the Pokédex anymore, because of a blackscreen.
So I'm removing the button for going to the menu.

This will be fixed, if I'm more experienced in programming.
Next thing I'm working on: Cries and Shiny-"mode".

So, I'm dropping the menu glitch, it's something for later, when I'm more experienced in homebrew making, or even programming.

And, I'll release a demo maybe this week, or maybe next week, depends on how much time I can spend on it (school's in my way :S)

Yea, finaly, an update... Took a while, but here it is:
As soon as you press the button of a region, it changes the text.
Like it should do, but back when I made those buttons, I was to lazy to make that too

Okay, back to work for me

I'm glad that you have finally fixed (kinda) the menu glitch, maybe a mini-menu within the pokedex will be better? (like options to go to the credits and minigame?)

And the PokeDex discriptions, are you using the sprites from different games?

I have some additions I'll add (common glitch pokemon) like missingno generations 1-5
For Kanto pokemon are you using the sprites from leafgreen/firered? cause using the original game's pokemon would be better.

This is a great idea.

Especially with Pokemon Platinum on the way!

If you need artworks, you might be able to rip them from the flash application for the pokemon GTS http://www.pokemon-gts.net/.

I'm not sure how to extract things out of flash, but it's a thought.

This looks great... like a portable Pokemon guide! I'm just interested, but where do you get your info from? Most info that I've seen is copyrighted.

Also, I'd be happy to support this project in any way I can, if possible! I'm quite good at designing menus and such, if anything like that is needed.
