Hacking Please help, how do you get the + button to work on GH III

I am using USB Loader GX, and have no problem starting Guitar Hero III, Smash Hits, and World Tour. I can't seem to figure out how to get the + button to work on the Wii mote to pause or confirm a quickplay set list. Anybody know a solution?

my + button works fine...

I think my wiimote + button never worked in guitar hero too
But I thing the guitar + button is more convenient anyway

Thanks guys, I never noticed the + button on the actual guitar. I feel like such a dumb ass.
