Hacking Play Guitar Hero 5 via disc Channel( Cioscorp users) Works perfectly &

This does indeed work. I just installed it with WAD Manager.


Is anyone getting like random skips in the game? I have burned GH5 twice but it is still skipping in the game. :/

NO I have cioscorp v3.2 installed thanks man but burnt to disc as I stated the 002 fix probably doesnt matter...this is just what I did man and what the hell are you talking about? I am just giving a little insight MATE but maybe you should try reading my post fanboy.

it maybe worked for every single person in this thread except for you because you didnt read the thread title correctly, this is for CIOSCORP USERS ONLY!!! with you describing '' enable 002 error '' sounds to me you are trying to launch via a backup/usb loader??? once again this is for CIOSCORP USER S ONLY! You are the only one within 10 pages of this thread to say it didn't work all because you didn't read the thread properly

Okay, so I downloaded and put Cioscop 3.3 on my 4.1u Wii.

When I try to run the installer that you sent me, I get an error and it doesn't install.

ERROR! (ret = -1) is what comes up pretty much right away.

I can manually install the wad file, but you said that it doesn't work like that...
Any suggestions?

The disc channel shows the front screen for the game, and when I click start it goes to the health screen, then to the GH5 loading screen. The bar moves all the way, but then says the disc cannot be read. I've tried to burn the disc a few different times with different ways and none of those work at all. No front screen. No health warning. Nothing.

Here's the kicker though. I was literally JUST playing and it managed to make it past the loading screen and I was able to pick some songs. I was able to play one song and as it was loading the next, i got the Disc Cannot Be Read screen. I tried a few more times, but to no avail. I can't get past the GH5 loading screen now.

Thoughts anyone?

sounds like the burnt disc is dodgy or even the copy of GH5 you downloaded?? do any of your othe games give you this problem when played via the disc channel( backup games i mean)

I have a similar issue although I get the disc could not be read instantly when attempting to play it. My CRC is 8d238f7a, filename shine-gh5u.iso

Edit: Nevermind... the link I was looking at was quoted so it was bum-cheese. Yeah...mine is Wiisos (sp) so it should be good. gonna try this wad now.

Edit 2: Patched the wad. gonna try the Hermes updates now.

Mine is Guitar Hero 5 Wii [NTSC] Sguen.iso Anyone else have this one? Maybe I'll just try to get some other backup from somewhere else.

Hey you do realize the the WAD is already patched with the REV14 dip module and with truch bug restored, all you do is once Cioscorp is installed( if you don't already have it) is install this via WAD manager or Cios installer and thats it :-)

No need for Hermes if using Cioscorp.

No more using SoftChip to launch the game, but I think I'll hold on to it since it seems to be better than Gamma at the moment.
