Hey guys I ran into a parts issue with the NP2016 when having my boards manufactured and spent a bit of time filtering results to find a comparable MOSFET. I ran across the Huashuo HSCB2016. It appears to be a clone of the NP2016, and they are available through Aliexpress, eBay, and LCSC.

I attached the Datasheet for it but here is a screenshot of the first page.

I accidentally dropped this while removing the usb port. Can I use rp2040 for the switch when I lose this? Thank u
I believe these are part of the decoupling caps based on the schematics for that device. It should work fine without them, they just smooth the power going into the power supply from the USB port and would only be used during flashing. The board will derive power from the switch afterward.

I've bought this but haven't tested it yet

However, I think the AP50N03DF is a better choice

is everything working?
it should work with all future system updates

Thanks and sorry, any "easy way" dump tool for this?
use the toolbox software to get the "Firmware Info". the only firmware with Atmosphere support not compatible with that toolbox was v2.5. So you can easily determine what is inside.
You can also dump it with USB using well known picotool

Success, my Mariko has married Picofly :)

I have chosen a different mosfet: IRF8736PBF because it has legs so soldering is much easier.
it looks like this:

and in my Mariko switch it looks like this:

Green LED is coming on the "rp2040 one" in 1 second.
THANK YOU ALL (I've read the whole thread) it is a very hard mod but it is much fun.
Love this install, but gave me huge paranoia.
Should we all start putting resistors between gate and source?

the most correct way is to boot OFW (Vol+ & Vol- on the NO SD screen) then update the system in official way.

rp2040 pulls the gate down, so it's safe to skip resistors unless you are going to remove the pico board without removing the mosfet later
