don't worry, it should work the same. I just moved the board detection to the main firmware, so bootloader is much simpler now.
Ah okay i dont need board detection so then ill just update it where should i put update bin ?

dont worry about it put it in the main folder and it worked like a charm :-)

thank u so much for ur hard work on this project :-)

Can verify that 2.61 flashes cleanly from a freshly nuked (clearing the rp2040 contents with the "flash_nuke.uf2", then flashing 2.6 to a rp2040-zero) setup. I hopped into hekate on 2.6, loaded the picofly toolbox from the payloads folder located in bootloader folder on SD card, then placed the update.bin in the root of SD and ran the update option. It flashed nearly instantly, and then asked to be rebooted to apply.

After the update the pico had to relearn my boot to get fast glitches again, but after about 5 reboots I'm back to instant glitches.

Great work Rehius!

is
2.61

- no more magic for xiao/itsy, detection by shorting pins
-- for xiao2040 please short GPIO 1 & 2
-- for itsybitsy please short GPIO 2 & 3

- moved to the latest bootloader version (I know, logo sucks now)

- software update bugfixes, rollback works fine now
is it safe to flash update.bin on hekate? some posted they can not boot to ofw.
if im on 2.6 already just update.bin ?

yes

my Lite can boot OFW. if you have issues, boot hekate -> Full Stock, and update to 16.0.1 officially. If already on 16.0.1 - you can write clean BOOT0 from another 16.0.1 console or rebuild it using guide

Patched V1 and have no issues booting to OFW from hekate's reboot menu or with Vol + / Vol - from the loader screen and no SD loaded.

Also, I like the new battery indicator on the preloader screen, nice touch Rehius :)

I know people who enlarged cap holes and used the cable on a v2. But you can use wires to solder it, there are such photos in this topic

Absolutely; if you desolder the mosfets from the ribbons, there is nothing keeping you from directly soldering them to the APU caps just like seen in this thread.
