This is exactly correct. This would need to be implemented in Atmosphere, and as @SciresM doesn't condone piracy with Atmosphere there is a good chance this will not happen. Sorry.
Thanks for the answers everyone. I understand more clearly now, it's SX OS that does it, not the chip or it's FW. Bummer, was hoping something could be done through FW.

Guess it's time to learn code and add the functionality to AMS? Where do I even start...?

AMS 'not condoning piracy' has always seemed like a joke to me. There's plenty of piracy w\o USB storage and AMS is, arguably, the easiest gateway to doing so. But, if that REALLY is THE THING that keeps the ninjas at bay, I get it. It's just hard for me to believe that USB storage is the line to not cross.

New hope: PicoFly opens the floodgates on programmers into the scene and we get AMS alternatives.

you can on an time create de addon or mod the Atmosphère source to allow any functionallity you need, the source is open code., only need and Ide and start to coding.

Doing this is a long path and if you genuinely have zero coding experience the Switch will be long retired before you achieve this.

USB loading has nothing to do with it. Atmosphere doesn't even come with signature patches. With a bone stock Atmosphere setup, you cannot play backup games. And yes, this generally has been enough to keep the ninja's at bay. Its likely to ever change, either.

If you wait until Atmosphere finally reimplements the FS module, then you'd be in a much better starting position to modify it for your purposes, otherwise you'd have to reverse engineer the relevant parts of it yourself and make patches for them. Though once Atmosphere's implementation is done, other people who've been wanting the same might get there first so you don't have to. The reimplementation is still on Atmosphere's list of plans, it's just been left until a lot of other stuff is done first because it's the biggest OS module, or one of them.

What memories are your Switch using? Check the ram chips if they're Sk-hynix, Samsung or Toshiba.

Can someone tell me, please, what is this component m28? It seems I burned it (short circuit) and now my switch does not turn on

Honestly, it just looks like the middle leg is connected to the left one. Sure it's not a bridge?
It seems that there is no middle leg and I did not touch that side. How can I check in which parts of the electrical circuit there is a problem?

Can you take a better picture plus which version of the Switch?
Is it on the front or the back of the motherboard?

This is the maximum that my camera is capable of, I don’t have a microscope. Front side switch lite.
