Have you ever wanted to put a game in your sig OVER 80kb?

Have you ever wanted to put a spoiler in your sig?with an item OVER 640x480?

Have you ever wanted to put a sig that extends OVER 500x150 pixels?

YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

    MEET THE PETITION POLL!

THE POLL THAT DETERMINES OUR VOICE IN GBATEMP!

Ultimate Flash Sonic. Currently OVER 80kb(around 1450kb)

EDIT: Instead of a poll, just get a signature looking picture with your name put in this

    Petition Poll

I, (Sig, Pic Sig or Typed Sig), believe that we need our sig to be over 80kb to another limit that is resonable to our creativeness. (Sig, Typed Sig or Pic Sig), also believe that our Sig should be in a spoiler at our discretion using the [spoi ler] [/spoi ler] code. (Sig, Typed Sig or Pic Sig), also believe that we need you to meet our needs and value us since we made you popular.
(Put sig in spoiler here) Want this as my sig. MEET THAT [IMG]

@ all, no. I did not ever want any of that.
Second, I don't think this will change much...
Costello will have to upgrade the server, pretty much alot, to enable this.
(costello, you run the servers, right?)
Third, on older computers, multiple flash sigs will f*ck them up.
(like my pc >.>, pppl...eaase, PLEASE don't place 9001 flash stuffs on ONE page ;_;)
    Do not want.

Why would I want to sign a petition that would enable users to spike up the amount my computer needs to download just to read a topic o.0...

Quite putting so much shit in your signatures. This is a totally worthless petition. Lets not turn browsing gbatemp into a myspace-style experience with a bunch of garbage gunking up things. The little flash game in your signature is enough to make one puke.

I DON'T WANT TO WAIT 7 DAYS TO LOAD 50 GIGS OF FLASH GAMES.

Typing in all caps is the best way to get people to notice you. [IMG]

Not a good petition. Good luck getting it passed. BTW that flash game is the dumps.

I'm not sure if this is serious or not...

    Why would we want to?
    Is it worth the lag?
Is it really worth waiting for the page to load because of silly little signatures?
You do know you chose to abide by the rules when you signed up, right?
    Thus, the kb limit.
Get over it, it's just a signature.

With my home internet speed, I would be dead by the time everything would load on a page.

I can agree with the 80kb limit, the server should be able to do a little bit more (but not as high as 1000+kb [IMG])
There are still people with low bandwidth that still like to view signatures.

As for having big flash files / spoiler in your sig, I totally don't see the point of that.

    Also, I lowercased your title.

Keep GBAtemp lean and mean. So, respectfully, no Mr. Maxlwin.

Yeah, hate to be another one against this petition, but the sigs shouldn't contain flash games or anything of the sort; I don't want to wait forever to load a page because some kids want to put a link to a game in their sig.

wowzers. MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET ANOTHER OPERATING SYSTEM OTHER THAN WINDOWS!

Anyways i will not let this phase me since I have a low bandwidth as well, but am able to perfectly see my flash games all over the place and more.

    This is just stupid.
Cube field is boring shitless, and Ultimate Flash Sonic as a signature?

Seriously, I don't see the appeal of Flash Games any more. I have more things to do then press left and space to a poorly coded game.

The only thing I would want would be the bottom part of my signature extended, but regardless you can still read it.

No, no and no. A forum signature is a place for a few words or a small picture - that is all. Link to the pointless game if you must but nobody want to see it every time you 'grace' a thread with your 'input'.

Not that I wouldn't like bigger limits, but...

    1. Dial-up users would be practically unable to browse this site.
    2. GBAtemp will have higher server costs
    3. Some users want to conserve their bandwidth for downloads, not games they didn't want to play

    Just my 2 cents.

Erm, sorry fanboy, but I'm a Linux user. There's that part of your debate down the drain. I actually have a Windows 7/Ubuntu 10.10 dual-boot set up... and both take the exact same amount of time to load GBAtemp and any other web page.
