@ all, no. I did not ever want any of that.
Second, I don't think this will change much...
Costello will have to upgrade the server, pretty much alot, to enable this.
(costello, you run the servers, right?)
Third, on older computers, multiple flash sigs will f*ck them up.

Why would we want to?
Is it worth the lag?
Is it really worth waiting for the page to load because of silly little signatures?
You do know you chose to abide by the rules when you signed up, right?
Thus, the kb limit.

I can agree with the 80kb limit, the server should be able to do a little bit more (but not as high as 1000+kb

There are still people with low bandwidth that still like to view signatures.

As for having big flash files / spoiler in your sig, I totally don't see the point of that.

Yeah, hate to be another one against this petition, but the sigs shouldn't contain flash games or anything of the sort; I don't want to wait forever to load a page because some kids want to put a link to a game in their sig.

Seriously, I don't see the appeal of Flash Games any more. I have more things to do then press left and space to a poorly coded game.

The only thing I would want would be the bottom part of my signature extended, but regardless you can still read it.

Not that I wouldn't like bigger limits, but...

1. Dial-up users would be practically unable to browse this site.
2. GBAtemp will have higher server costs
3. Some users want to conserve their bandwidth for downloads, not games they didn't want to play

Erm, sorry fanboy, but I'm a Linux user. There's that part of your debate down the drain. I actually have a Windows 7/Ubuntu 10.10 dual-boot set up... and both take the exact same amount of time to load GBAtemp and any other web page.
