No because of nintendo great purge. Go to "that ISO site" and search for this thread : [MEGA] [CIA/BIN] MSET 4.X & 6.X backups, Browser backups, Update packs (All Regions)
Here you will be able to find a RTU pack of pasta.

I tried running Pasta without using the configurator and it's working just fine? was there a reason to use that configurator at all?
I have a new 3DS on 9.0

One file, the firm.bin, you need it to use Firmlaunch and in your case to play 9.0+ games.

Damn, so what files do I need to find exactly on [MEGA] [CIA/BIN] MSET 4.X & 6.X backups, Browser backups, Update packs (All Regions) just the firm.bin?

thanks btw

"firmware.bin (pastaCFW)" on the New 3DS section.

Edit: put the firm.bin into your pastaCFW folder.

I did everything you said and enable firmlaunch but now when I hit give me some Pasta and try to boot into Pasta mode it says
preparing Arm11

jump!

and stays in this screen, my 3DS freezes and I have to press and hold the power button to shut it down.
Do you know what this may be? :(

I have a 8.1 new 3ds with gateway unlinked emunand 9.5

Is there a way to use pasta cfw alongside gateway and not mess everything up? I only really care about using pasta to run agb_firm games.

Is there a way to launch Pasta CFW with a cubic ninja ROM loaded on gateway? Or is there a way to launch it using a different region copy of CN by using gateway classic mode for region free? Or would I certainly be stuck tracking down JPN Cubic Ninja?

I heard from one of the creators of Pasta and he said that they are now working together with RX tools (Pasta will no longer be supported) but apparently this month they will release an Rxtools with as much capability as GW and able to work with n3ds. As for Cubic Ninja the only way is using a Sky3DS to emulate the actual cartrige (at least that's what I heard) but the actual game costs a fortune in the US so you may be better off getting it from Japan

Nope i read correctly, french is my native language..
But i'm not saying its working, just saying someone said its PARTIALLY working on ninjhax2.
..so like i said: would a plugin (or homebrew) with a plugin like layerFS work on 9.9's consoles?

No, not with the current hacks.

Oh ok..
Does layerFS needs mernel access or only to be able to patch ram on demand?

Also

About emunand, is it possible for n3ds, to make an emunand 9.9 with my nand backup of 9.9 of my hard mode console?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
