Hacking Paper Mario Thousand year door freezes when creating save file

Can anyone help me i download paper mario thousand year doorand launched it with usb loader gx. it boots fine and gameplay is fine but when it asks me to create a save file it freezes. On twilight princess when it asked me to createv a save file it worked and didnt freeze. Please help me i really want to play this game

Are you using NMM for your saves or are you saving to the memory card? NMM does not have full compatibility as of today, so if that's the case, I'm afraid you'll need a Gamecube Memory Card.

Ahh okay thanks okay yeah im using nmm is it just not compatible with paper mario? its working with twilight princess.

I fixed the freezing. Getting a gamecube mem card did work but i must installed the latest version of dios mios lite which was 2.3 and the saving now works.
