If the regular ds can be overclocked to run at 1.7 times regular speed and the DSI is just running in an underclocked mode when running in DS mode couldn't we use the overclocking method to access its extra ram for Hombrew?

Sorry if Im wrong I don't know anything about the DSI's hardware and whether or not overclocking can even be done on it.
(also sorry for the awful English on the link I provided but it was translated from Japanese)

It doesn't "just" simply underclock during standard DS mode...

It deactivates all the features and such, so for DSi-mode it has alot more features and security protocols and so on, it's not that simple.

I know it wouldn't be running in dsi mode and it wouldn't run DSI games but couldn't it increase our current homebrew abilities on DSI? like having emulators run decently?

Overclocking would never give us more RAM. It would only make things run faster.

the rams already there though its just running underclocked isn't it. I thought DSI had 4 times the ram the DS had.

The rest of the ram is being BLOCKED by the DSi.

And there's no such thing as overclocking RAM.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
