Can someone write a tutorial oh how to self host the files without access to the internet. I'm really curious on how to do that as well.

I don't know if I'm mixing things up because I'm a noob at this whole thing but let's say I don't have an internet connection how do I play Loadiine offline on my WiiU?

Indeed. Fortunately I have that Turbo DNS setup. So the console won't update. Too bad there isn't a pure offline method to boot backups.

No offline method? Can't you install download version of the files to a spare android device and tether the Wii U to it? That would allow you to block the Wii U from the internet.

read the sticky, there's already a tutorial to self host the files.
The Definitive Guide to Wii U Hacking

there's also the SDcard-wifi solution, where you don't even need to host a server on your PC or phone, it's already hosted and serving files on your SD card.
the WiiU use SD for both the server and the exploit.

If you want to create a new connection but forbid internet, don't enter the gateway IP. it will have access only to LAN ips.

that's good, you don't need internet. (and reading the guide, it's even recommended to not have internet access or it would update the console through the phone access)
you need local network with your phone.

Shouldn't your phone host a webserver?
I don't have a smartphone, so never tested it myself, but what I understand is that the phone is serving the web pages for the exploit.
you need the phone's IP and use it on your wiiU browser to see the phone's content.

unless the issue is the wiiu not enabling that connection as default because it can't connect on the net?
if you need the internet connection to "set the connection as default", then I guess you need to enable the data on your phone.
As long as your cellular data is OFF there's no way your Wii U will be able to connect to the internet/download updates.
so, enable it, try to connect to the net, and use that connection as default. shutdown the "data" option on the phone to block further internet access by the console.
Now the browser should be able to browse the phone's content.

Oh, and while you are setting up the connection, set the TubeHax IP in the DNS menu to block updates even if your phone's data is active. (well, I hope the phone will not use its own dns server instead) : 107.211.140.65

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that I'm using an old phone. It doesn't have any data plan so I cant enable internet access through data and obviously I can't use my router's WiFi while enabling the Hot Spot. My worries come from the fact that to create a Wiiu internet connection it has to have an initial access to the internet, once it connects to whatever it connects to then it will create the connection thus permitting me to host the files on the android without further web access. Every time I try to create an initial connection the Wiiu won't hesitate to try to update and I have to quickly disconnect it from the electrical outlet. The the FW Spoofer first came to scene it was a nightmare for me to get things right because of the damn Wiiu desire to update. Right now I have I'm using a virtual server though my PC and have the Nintendo sites blocked with opendns but I hate it waiting for the PC to boot everything I want to use Loadiine so I thought there was a more easier way to perform this without that first Network access.

There are free tethering software for android that lets you tether even if you don't have data plan. I used it on my smartphone and tablet to tether to 2DS to get it exploited using a browser hack, so i could download the MSET. I didn't want to ever connect it to the internet at anypoint.

I use a pc stick plugged into the TV's usb port and virtual router to host the exploit files.
works very well and I don't have to block update server/dns changes because I don't connect the pc stick to the internet so the wiiu has no internet access.

when you turn the tv on the pc stick boots up and within like 30 seconds of turning the tv on the wiiu can connect to the exploit files.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/compute-stick/intel-compute-stick.html
you can find cheaper ones like this they are all pretty much the same

https://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/
virtual router will allow you to create a wifi hotspot with pretty much any wifi card/stick in windows, the pc stick has a wifi card built in and virtual router works fine with it

Every time I try to create an initial connection the Wiiu won't hesitate to try to update and I have to quickly disconnect it from the electrical outlet
then don't use automatic setup, use manual and enter all settings, including the DNS settings set to tubehax, it will block the updates.

So is the 5.5 IOSU exploit coming? Is this the right place to ask??
that exploit "should" come in few days.
it's not the right place to ask, this thread is for a program (loadiine) not for WiiU hacking progress discussion (it's in another thread, hacking forum section)

Hey, nice setup ;)
lot of users think they are bound to guide/tuto which already exists, but anything that can serves web page works.
thanks for giving another possible method.

I thought i had a problem when the wiiU dindnt validate my home conection because it had no access to the internet... I just went back and the connection details were there, ready to be used.

LOVE both of the gui interfaces. Thank you so much for the dedication.

it's not decided yet. Like said, the video were only mockup and we haven't decided which one to use.
Though, Dimok started working on the "game icon" automatic generation to looks like the ones in the "2D GUI" video, working on that will benefit any other design.
Icon creation code is done (to generate rounded corners, make it looks inside a glass), but not automatic generation from SD card's meta folder yet. it's done on PC only, not on wiiU side.

Don't know when we will do the voting, we will probably do it when we can generate a theme on wiiu : loading 3D element, pictures, place them where we want, have user input working, etc.
currently, it needs coding "element" (icons generation from tga, 3D model integration coding, etc.) before we can build a GUI.
think of it like creating a "libwiigui" for wiiU needed to create a GUI.

the full game is the game without updates.
you need to download the updates too (replace 0 to E in the game's TitleID to get the updates), and merge the updates inside the full game folders.

Two method to check the version :
- before extracting : open the tmd in hexeditor and look at 0x1dc
- extracted : code/app.xml -> titleVersion (it's in hexadecimal)
