He could just do it the easy way and use DOP-IOS Mod to install a new system menu.

Tried that way, it gave me the error I posted a few posts back

well, most of the errors are caused by a not-trucha bugged ios. just load up it up and tell it to install a fake signed ios36, with everything- trucha'd, nand permissions.

if it was a wifi error download a ios36 wad with nusd, and have dop ios mod patch it.

he already restored his nand back up. and nothing has changed.
