I still personally prefer the xci files as they are simply drag and drop. No time installing, no clutter in switch menu (as you load with SX menu that only shows xci instead of EVERY game played ever), the whole multiple SD card point, to save space, you can not only trim them, but can simply move or replace the xci with a different one with no need to uninstall to remove from SD, which then requires another install to play again, plus far FAR less detection rate so far (may change in time), still works with nsp updates and dlc. It is simply just easier and has no downsides... other than the clutter of xci in the root of the SD... which isnt a problem if you name them. The only thing I would like is the not having to reboot to add a game... but even then, new games don't come out hardly often enough to warrant that as much of an issue, and is even further minimized if you have an SX Pro with auto rcm. Rebooting is literally a few seconds. I even find myself preferring that over ftpd.
But then again, it is all preference.
